Congratulations…it is a good picture. Pictures with people are the best. So, what’s the prize? Another trip? A camera? Your picture on a wall?

The first fight I broke up was over 20 years ago when I was doing my student teaching. My student and another one were going at it, right outside the door. I walked out, got between the two, told them to knock it off, my student to get in the classroom right now and the other kid to get lost. Later I learn that the other kid had a knife on him.

Fast forward to now, I don’t break up any fight. I let the men on campus handle it. As for my own kids, they haven’t had any fisticuffs.

I too love my iPhone, but it will not work at our school so I keep it in my purse, in my office.

As for leaving things out, I had one of my multimedia cameras stolen, in another classroom, because the kid left it sitting on a desk. The darn teacher for the room didn’t have the gumption to find it either.

My students are real good about turning in equipment and such that they find at their work spot if they come in and it has been left behind. I think it all has to do with training.

There’s a silver button at the top, on the right. Hold it down for about three seconds and then when the message comes up, swipe your finger across the screen. Probably not the easiest thing to do on the sly if you’ve never done it before.

You should get one for yourself. I don’t know what I’d do without mine.

Our whole district gives the PSAT to all the sophomores. Pretty expensive, but, like your supe, ours believes all students will go to heaven, er, I mean, college.

I didn’t have to give it as I have seniors third period. Our students all come to school and we freeze-frame period 3 for 4 hours. Worked very well for me as we got lots of work done. Then we have 21 minute periods after lunch. Teachers want to see each class. Don’t know why.

One of my students has been removed from her home due to her father beating her. She has gotten help from the Mormon church that is right across the street from the school. We have another church at the end of the block where the kids go to fight.
